A microbrewer concocting some of Saigon’s most beloved craft beer, Deme is the proud purveyor of beer with a uniquely Vietnamese twist.
Started in 2018, Deme has been quietly asserting its position in Vietnam’s craft beer scene through a distinct path: infusing street culture spirit and a witty local vernacular into every drop of beer. Despite their unassuming base of operations—tucked inside an alleyway in District 3—Deme’s reputation has traveled far and wide. Even their name itself is a play on the Vietnamese word, "Đê Mê" (meaning ecstaty or mesmerised), serving as the perfect reflection of the brand’s lively, cultured spirit. From their signature Ba Hoa IPA (made from a blend of 3 American hops) to their Quất Đê! (Calamansi Radler) which is the ideal accompanient for a hot aftenoon in Saigon, Deme continues to push the envelope on the possibilities of Vietnamese craft beer. Sound like something you’d like to try? Drop by their District 3 Tasting Room (Alley 393/7 Hai Ba Trung) for rooftop views of Saigon’s skyline while you sample their 5 signature brews.
